August Joseph “Joey”Diener V
19, of Indianapolis, passed away March 7, 2016. Joey was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 30, 1996. He was a graduate of North Central High School.
Joey enjoyed writing scripts, creating videos and dissecting movies. He was the funniest guy in the room and always left an impression. His humor was sometimes dark, many times off color, and often uncalled for – but we loved it. His admiration for music had a wide range … from the Beatles & Pink Floyd to Led Zeppelin & Michael Jackson.
Joey was a loving son, grandson, brother, cousin, and nephew. His memory lives on through Erica Watkins (mother), August Diener IV(father), Susan Watkins (nana), and multiple aunts/uncles that he adored.
A celebration of life will be 3pm on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation from 1pm until the time of service. Burial will be at a later date, for family only, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers,Indiana. The family would like to request that everyone come in “Joey Casual” attire for the services.

My heart aches for you, baby sister. Please know I’m here for you in the days, weeks, months, and years to come. Joey was an amazing person, loved by many. I’m eternally grateful you brought him to us. I love you
Joey was my half brother.He was the best brother i ever had.He always hurt me on purpose but I will always love him no mater what.
