Beverly Joan Rhodus, age 76, residing in Markleville, passed away after an extended illness on April 7, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 16, 1947, to Jessie and Pauline (Hartley) Adams.

Beverly was a wonderful homemaker the majority of her life, having small jobs here and there. She was family oriented in every way and would do anything for her children. She was supportive, kind, always willing to help when needed. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting, and attending craft shows. She was a loving dog mom to all her dogs, spent time traveling with her husband in a truck club, and as of late, spent time playing online games. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Stanley “Butch” Rhodus; children Sheila Haney (Randy) and Travis Rhodus; grandchildren Jara-Lee Brinkley, Joshua Brinkley, Jacob Haney, and Danielle Rhodus; several great-grandchildren; sister Susan Adams Reed; several nieces and nephews; and special caregiver and friend Angie.

She is preceded by her parents listed above, son Steven Rhodus, and siblings Peggy, Barbara, Jimmy, and Pat.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 12, 2023, from 11am-1pm with a funeral service beginning at 1pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
