BillyDean Lee Switzer, age 81, of Anderson, passed away at St. Vincent Anderson on March 29, 2022. He was born on November 16, 1940, to the late Frank and Alberta (Ferguson) Switzer.
Bill retired from General Motors after working many years. He loved to spend his free time collecting hot wheel cars and building and flying model airplanes. He thoroughly enjoyed being outside, sitting in a deer stand, and hunting. He loved his family and would do anything for them. He was a wonderful father, grandpa, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bill is survived by his 3 children Christopher Switzer of Anderson, Craig and Barbara Switzer of Pendleton, and Cimberly and Mark Williams of Anderson; 4 grandchildren Kyle Williams of Anderson, Sara Williams of Anderson, and Miranda and Victoria; sister Diane Beane (Larry); and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Judith Ann Switzer, father Frank (Bill) Switzer, and Mother Alberta (Ferguson) Switzer.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022, from 2-4pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
