Charles W. DeLong Sr., 92, of Lawrence, IN, went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2018. Charles was born on April 7, 1926, in Indianapolis, to the late Daniel and Della DeLong.  He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  Charles loved three things more than anything else: his family, his dogs, and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Margaret DeLong.  He is survived by his sons: Chuck (Rita) DeLong, Mark DeLong, and Bruce (Cherie) DeLong; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10am to 12pm on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a service starting at 12pm.  Burial to follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN.
