June 14, 1976 ~ July 31, 2017
Christina Rose Finley, 41, passed away at home on July 31, 2017. She was born to Mary and William Finley on June 14, 1976 at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson.
Christina graduated Madison Heights High School in 1994. She was extremely artistic and very creative. She enjoyed many crafts and hand stenciled cabinets in her home. She created a wall art sunflower using the handprints of the little ones in her life as the center. She enjoyed make-up, especially lipstick. She taught her little sister the tricks to applying make-up the best way.
Christina enjoyed listening to old school R & B and her dad’s music including songs from Led Zeppelin and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Most of all, Christina genuinely loved everyone, especially her son, Jayce. She had a special place in her heart for her two nephews, Zayden and Azir. She was an interesting person and there was always excitement around her.
Left to cherish Christina’s memory is her son, Jayce Xavier (“Little Love”) Finley; mother and father, Bill and Mary Finley; siblings, Cari Finley (Alan Crabtree), Michael (Kim) Finley, and Elizabeth Finley (Robert Coleman, Sr.); nieces and nephews, Zayden (“Little Friend”) Finley, Azir (“Halo”) Finley, Teagan Lawson, Spencer Lawson, Breanna Finley, Heath Finley, and a baby due in January to Elizabeth; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is also survived by her special fur babies, Rascal, Rebel, and Jeddie.
Preceding Christina in death are her grandparents, Robert and Metta Finley and William and Rosemary Cassel.
Services are private.
In memory of Christina, please make contributions to Mary and Bill to assist with raising Jayce.
May the road rise to meet you,
may the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

I thought an old Irish saying was appropriate…
☘Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.â¤
