Cynthia Baker, age 70, of Anderson, passed away at her home peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on January 28, 2023. She was born in Anderson on August 28, 1952.
Cindy loved her family.  She loved animals, coloring with her great grandchildren, taking care of flowers, collecting all sorts of things, including seashells, Indian items and elephants. She had been employed at several restaurants and grocery stores throughout her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Baker; Daughter, Lynette (Jason) Terrell; Grandchildren, Brook (Shandon) Hicks, Ashley Brummett, Zachariah (Mikala) Brummett; Great grandchildren, Alexis Price, Eli Hicks, Christopher Hicks, Ra’Shawn, Cheyenne, Davian and Lilah Turner and David Brummett; Siblings, Sandy (John) DeHaan, Anita (Allen) Atkinson, Norma Hopkins, Michael (Pam) Kinser, Elizabeth Meek, Vicky (Rick) Reichenbacher, Leisa (Jon) Walker, Mike Johnston and Martha Borders; And several Nieces and Nephews; Her Mother and Father- in- law Monte and Sue Baker

She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Helen (Jerry) Johnston and Norman Kinser, Her son-in-law Dave Brummett, brother Larry Kinser and sister Carol Wood

There will be a celebration of Cindy’s life held Saturday Feb 4th at 1pm at Columbus Avenue Church of Christ, 4620 Columbus Ave, Anderson, with Jim Harrison officiating.

  6. I love you so much CC! I will always remember coloring with you every time I came over to see you and papaw, you always hung up everyone’s drawings so they knew how proud you were of them. I hope heaven is treating you well and your with your mom again. Once again I love you and will always miss you!
