Danny Ray Brown of Anderson, Indiana went home to Jesus on May 30th, 2022.  He was born on November 16th, 1951 to Audrey (Costerison) and L.C Brown.  He joined the Air Force Reserves and left for basic training from August 22nd, 1974 until December 19th, 1975 .  He then returned home and started drills at Grissom Air Force Base.  He later became a full time technician where he designed a train the trainer for personal for AFE and then became the manager of the tran department before  retiring on February 22, 2000.  He married Mary Brown (Gooding) on October 14th, 1995.  After he retired, he enjoyed remodeling houses, flea markets, and traveling with his wife.  After a few years of retirement, he returned to part time work as an Assistant Manager at Culvers.  We will cherish all the love and memories that we shared as a family.
Left to carry on his legacy of love and devotion to family is his daughter Melissa (Kevin)Edwards, his son Cie-J (Emily) Brown, his brother Douglas J. (Christy) Brown.  Also surviving are his grandchildren, Alexis Edwards, Devon Gooding, Adisyn Gooding, Alanna Brown, Kaelyn Brown and several nieces and nephews that he loved and adored.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Brown, his parents, Audrey Costerison, and L.C. Brown in 1975 and Warren Costerison in 2003, daughter Karrie Gooding, Aunt Ann Moreland, Uncles, Duane Conlon and Lyle Conlon.

  2. Dan was a valued member of the Air Force and was instrumental in developing the Wild Stallion Combat Search and Rescue training exercise. He was respected throughout the Life Support community and we honor his memory!

  3. Danny and I spent many days & nights. Both in the field & in many places around the world. Danny was passionate about what he did. And truly cared about others and his country!     You taught me more than I could ever imagine. You were my 1st supervisor and I can’t imagine where I would be without your guidance. Thank you for all that you ever done for me. You have always “aimed High”, now it is your turn to “Fly High”. Fly with angels and eagles sir and watch over those of us whom you have left behind.
