  2. I met David for the first time in the fall of 2017, opened up his house to me when I was in need after an accident, it was also actually the first time I physically met Tammy also, but I’ve known her for most of my life. David was so kind and giving, no wonder why everyone loved him so much. He’ll be missed by many, RIP David.💕💓💕

  3. Dave Byerly was my best friend. We became roommates at MSU
September 1965. Over the years we shared a great life with our families who also became best friends. We were lucky and blessed to have known you.The memories will live on and we will all meet again.

  4. I’m so pleased to have met David and witnessed his kindness and warmth. Keeping you in my prayers as your family processes his loss. Love and hugs.

  5. Super great guy Dave was a lot of fun
to be around always smiling I will miss him deeply Our prays go out to Mike and his family

  6. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Dave Byerly for many years at Cincinnati Insurance Company. He really enjoyed cars and golf, but his heart was always with Tammy, the boys and their families. Always looked to as a mentor and leader by his peers, his work was just like his lawn, perfect.

Our prayers are with the family.

  7. David was a great guy. I had the pleasure of working with Dave at Cincinnati Insurance Company. He taught me a lot the first few years of my career and marriage! You couldn’t find a more honest, hard working guy. He dearly loved Tammy and the boys and their families. Dave always had a smile. Rest In Peace David. Love you.

  8. I had the pleasure of meeting David in 1989 and we had no problem talking because our complete conversation was about our shared love of cars. David went on to become my father in law. My fondest memory of David that I will never forget was one day while having complications with my pregnancy in carrying Brooke, Tammy said well we have to get Kim to Community North Hospital quickly. And David threw up his hand and said oh I’ve got this and runs in the garage and fired up the Corvette and we made it there in record time. I always thought of how David getting me where I needed to go allowed Brooke Byerly, now about to turn 31,to come into the world with no complications. Thank you again for that David. I look forward to seeing you again.

  9. I’m deeply sorry for the loss of David. You are all in my thoughts and will always be family to me.. love you much

  10. Growing up as a little girl, I was always excited to go to Grammy’s/ Gpa David’s & for Gpa David to measure my height on the garage cabinets to see if I grew… I never did grow much but he always checked…. Also following into the pool with my flower girl dress on after everyone told me not to run around the pool lol.
Thanks for treating me as your own many years. I never felt like a step grandchild to the Byerly’s.
Lots of sweet memories with Grammy & Gpa David!
Prayers for you all. Sorry for your loss🙏❤️

  11. I’ve known Dave for a little over 50 years. We shared some great times and he’ll be missed for sure. A class act! Rest In Peace my friend.
