Dian C. Loman, 76, of Indianapolis, went home to join family on October 4, 2017. Born to the late Arthur & Myrtle Schmidt on April 9, 1941 in Indianapolis. She was the loving Christian mother to Joe (Tina) Loman, Eddie Loman II, Darlene Loman (Don Hawk), Angel (Derrick) Fair, Chere (Wayne) Hooker, 28 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Dorothy Denton, Jackie Schmidt, Irene Winchester. Dian was preceded in death by Ed Loman, her husband of 31 years, and Fred Vest, her husband of 18 years. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Susie Hicks, daughter-in-law Sandy Loman, 2 grandsons, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Service will be on Monday October 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Morris St. with visitation from 11:00 am until service time. Burial will be at Forest Lawn in Greenwood, Indiana.

  2. Sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Dian but being a Christian woman I know she knows her bible. With that being said I would like to leave one of my favorite scriptures. Luke 11:28 ‘Happy are those hearing the word of God and keeping it’. From what I read Dian did just that. Keeping two long lasting marriages in a day and age where the institution isn’t valued is hard to do. Im sure keeping the word of God aided her in the process of the ups and downs we all go through.
