Diana Lynn Stephenson Sullivan
62, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 13, 2016. She was born in Indianapolis on February 24,1954 to the late Lynn Curtis and Bonnie Jean Stephenson. She received her registered nursing degree in Cortland, New York in the early 90’s.
Diana was a witty and passionate soul, who loved reading books, listening to music, and taking care of her cats. She was a great cook, we will especially miss her homemade mac-n-cheese. She was the friend who was your friend for life. Diana will greatly be missed.
Diana is survived by her: son, David Colwell and Michael(Misty) Colwell; Grandchildren, Jamie Colwell, Sydney Colwell, and DJ Colwell;Great Granddaughters, Kinley, Olivia, and Sophia; Sister, Julie Stephenson;Half-Brother, John Smedley; Aunt, Rita (Alex) Stephenson-Terry; Uncle, Richard(Linda) Stephenson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother,Allen Stephenson, along with her parents.
A memorial service will be at 2pm on Friday, November 25,2016 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation from 1pm until the time of service.

Though it’s been many years since I’ve seen you, finding out that you passed was a real shock. I’ve thought about you often over the years and I hope you had a great life. You were a sweet, beautiful person. Full of life and a joy to be with. It was a privilege to be with you for the time we were together.
The world will be a poorer and sadder place without you in it.
