Donna Sue Passwater Howard (Bookie), 49, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 29, 2023. She was born on August 1, 1973, in Indianapolis to Charles and Donna (Blackard) Passwater. Donna attended Cosmetology School in Indianapolis before having her first child and attending GED classes later. She was a homemaker but worked in many different fields, learning several different trades. Later she attended online college courses in hopes to gain degrees in the psychology and mental health fields.
Donna loved to cook big family meals, and always loved any and all critters. She was a fan of criminal justice research, and the what and why of the human mind. You could also catch her always doing hair or makeup on herself and the nieces.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Passwater and mother, Donna Passwater.
Donna is survived by her children, Shannon Passwater (Brian Cox), James Andrews, Jonathan Andrews (Kain), Justin Howard and fur baby, Eric Northman; as well as her children’s father, James Howard; grandchildren, Savannah Cox, Amyah Cox, Maddux Howard, and Lailani Howard; siblings, Bill Linville, Bob Linville, Patty Terry, Charles Passwater, Cheryl Passwater, Karen McDougalle (Passwater), Cindy Passwater, and Mark Passwate; along with several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home and/or her children and grandchildren.
