Elaine June King (Warfield) 79 of Mooresville, Indiana was called to her heavenly home on February 14, 2023. Born September 30, 1943, to the late Richard Earl and Ruth Irene (Lefevers) Warfield in Owen County, Indiana.
Elaine was a homemaker and after raising her children she worked in sales and accounts payable in wholesale and retail distributing farmers produce and seasonal holiday products.
She enjoyed many hobbies including bingo and was competitive at it, playing card games-Euchre and Spades, enjoyed the challenge of a good jigsaw puzzle. She was talented at crossword puzzles, loved reading the newspaper and staying up to date on current events.
Elaine loved decorating for holidays, socializing with her neighbors, and playing candy crush, family gatherings, cookouts, catalog shopping, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She loved music and country music was her favorite. Family stated Elaine was a “Foodie” and was adventurous at trying new or different foods, her favorite being sweets. She also had a witty sense of humor; she could bring a chuckle out of almost anyone.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Elaine Crouch, Celia Chadd, and Angela Chadd; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.
Elaine was proceeded in death by her parents Richard Earl and Ruth Irene Warfield, son; Donald Chadd, Jr, daughter; Jeneen Chadd, brother; Richard Warfield II, and a baby sister that passed at birth.
May each of you find courage to face tomorrow as you rest in the knowledge that we truly care about each of your needs and that we will be here to walk beside you in your journey of grief.
