Gladys Burnice Turner, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 3 2021. She was born in Dyersburg, TN. on May 5 1928 to the late Joseph and Gladys ( Kinchen) Lee. Gladys married Otis Bo Turner at a young age and immediately started raising their family of 7 children. Gladys and her family moved to Indiana sometime in the 1940’s. She worked for 25+ years at Marion County Nursing Home as the Head of Housekeeping. Gladys really enjoyed her job. She was a loving, caring, gentle but very strong lady. She loved to cook, do laundry and absolutely loved being with Family. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, along with all of her children: Harlan Turner, Charles Turner, Rebecca Turner, Bonnie Davenport, Patricia Turner, LaVerne Thurman, Robert Turner. She is survived by 13 Grandchildren, 33+ Great Grandchildren, and 23+ Great Great Grandchildren.
