Jack W. Fobes Sr., 92, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 17, 2022. He was born to George W. and Amy Fobes on July 9, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN.
Jack attended Indianapolis Public School #45 and graduated from Broad Ripple High School. He was a student at Butler University when he enlisted as a Marine. He was an Assault Squad Leader in Korea.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife Barb, and his four sons: Jack Fobes Jr. and Nancy, Robert Steven and Karen, Jim Ellison and Teresa, and Jeffery Lane Fobes; grandchildren Jack Fobes III, Chris Fobes, Trisha, Elissa, Nikki and Sean Rossetter, Jim Fobes Jr. and Samantha, as well as great-grandchildren and even one great-great-grandchild.
