Jeanette Paul Obituary

Jeanette Marie (Demma) Paul was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 14, 1959. Jeanette was the third child born to Joe and Phyllis Demma in what would become a total of 5 children. Growing up along side her brothers and sisters, Patricia (Patty), Frank, Joseph (Joe), and Mary, she would develop a love for sports. Jeanette would grow a passion for the sports of baseball, softball, and basketball, a passion that she would further in her adulthood  playing softball as an adult and coaching many other sports. In 1981 Jeanette would meet James (Jim) Paul and on January 29, 1982 the two would marry. This would forever grow her family to include Jim’s parents Phillip (Phil), Lila, and later Frances (Boop), and his brothers Michael (Mike), Thomas (Tom) and John. In their 21 years of marriage, they would have two children, James and Jennifer. In 2000 issues with her health would cause Jeanette to medically retire and focus on her health. Tragedy would strike in 2003 with the passing of Jim. Jeanette would remain devoted throughout her life to her family and her love of sports. On November 10, 2021 Jeanette would leave us to be welcomed into her eternal happiness by her parents Joe and Phyllis, her husband Jim, and his parents Phil, Lila, and Boop. She will be loved by and remembered by those who remain: her children James and his family, Jennifer and her family, her brothers and sisters and their families, and Jim’s brothers and their families.

  1. May each of you find courage to face tomorrow as you rest in the knowledge that we truly care about each of your needs and that we will be here to walk beside you in your journey of grief.

Eddie Beagles and the staff of Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services

  2. What a wonderful person we have lost! Such good memories, at work and out of work. I remember standing in your mom’s kitchen, driving her crazy while she was making a meal. I know you will be missed, but now you’re in good company. Resting in peace, as it’s well deserved.

  3. Aunt Jeanette I will always remember the fun times growing up as a kid and teenager spending time together over the holidays or a lucky sleep over. It hurts to see you not here on this earth but am glad that you are not in pain or suffering. Love always, The 4 C’s

  4. All the times you made sure we would have everything we needed at our JROTC meets. You were such a kind loving person. Thank you for everything. RIP
