ANDERSON, IN. -Jerry Brent Gilliam 60 years old, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 24th, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Anderson, IN. Graduated from Pendleton Heights class of 1978.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and friends, grilling, fishing and cheering on his favorite team or car. He was an avid NASCAR fan as well as local race cars, Indiana University, Purdue University, Indianapolis Pacers and Indianapolis Colts.
He is survived by mother Sherlyn Gilliam of Anderson, IN, 3 children Brittney (Trey) Wilmoth of Gentry, AR, Kaleigh (Rachael) Podsadecki of Fort Wayne, IN, Nathan Gilliam of Anderson, IN, 8 grandchildren Ross, Wyatt, Colton, Madison, Zach, Kenton, Brayden & Aubree, sister Susan (Kevin) Cauley of Anderson, IN, brother Kevin (Penny) Gilliam of Springfield, OH, 4 nieces and nephews Allison (Kristin) Cauley of Pendleton, IN, Zach Cauley of Anderson, IN, Sydnee (Ray) Kuriger of Springfield, OH, Jerisyn Gilliam of Springfield, OH, 4 great-nieces and great-nephews Carson, Cayden, Camryn & Reese.
He was preceeded in death by his father Jerry Lee Gilliam, son Nicholas Gilliam & brother Jason Gilliam.
Services will be at 11am on Monday, May 3rd, at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
