Jerry Lee Gibbs Sr.,64, passed away Thursday, February 9th, 2023, in Kokomo, IN.
Jerry was born on August 5th,1958, to Earl Gibbs Sr. and Helga Modlin in Anderson, IN. J
Jerry graduated from Anderson Senior High School in 1977. He later became employed by Chrysler Manufacturing as a Machine Repairman. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting and taking trips with his children and grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by his mother, Helga Modlin, sister Sherry Chedville (Billy Chedville), stepbrother Sherrill Lee Modlin (Gail Modlin) his two sons Jerry Gibbs Jr. and Stephen Gibbs (Rebeccah Gibbs) and his daughter Kayla Purciful (Monte Purciful). He is also survived by his grandchildren Ava, Blake, Callie, Brenna, Ethan, Chesney, Kaystin, Kacee, and Crosby.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Gibbs Sr., stepfather Charlie Modlin, brothers Buddy Gibbs and Ronnie Gibbs and stepbrother Mike Modlin.
Visitations will be held at Legacy Funeral Home,504 W. 9th St Anderson, IN 46016, on Friday, February 17th, 2023, from 2-4pm with a short service following.
