February 23, 1963 ~ August 2, 2017
Joann Carol Myers, 54, passed away at home after an extended illness on August 2, 2017. She was born in Muncie, Indiana on February 23, 1963 to Roy and Rita (Douphitt) Beal.
Joann attended Delta schools and lived most of her life on the Muncie area. She was head of transportation at a rubber company in Muncie and most recently was a turf installer for Quest Turf.
Joann’s grandchildren were a whole lot of her life. She and Jack enjoyed spending time together, traveling, and working together. They attended South Meridian Church of God.
Left to treasure Joann’s memory is her husband of 36 years, Jack; sons, Brad (fiancé, Maggie Redmon) Myers and Matthew Myers; grandchildren, Alyssa Myers, Cora Myers, Laila Myers, Kaisean Reed, Keagan Redmon, Madison Kinnett, and Aubrey Myers; mother, Rita Beal; siblings, Roy (Cheri) Beal, Jr., Beverly Gregory, Sue (Doug) Ritter, Kay (Bob) Tuck, Jane Beal, and Donald (Loralee) Beal; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dan McKenzie.
Preceding Joann in death was her father, Roy Beal; nephew, Eric Nolte’ and niece, Marie Jefferson.
Services are Saturday, August 5, 2:00 PM, at Union Cemetery in Eaton with Pastor Ed Hyatt presiding. Visitation is two hours prior. Burial will immediately follow the service.
We want to live and enjoy life with with those whom we love. It is only natural that we yearn to see our loved ones again. Christ Jesus promises us that he will restore life to many who have fallen asleep in death. He states at John 5:28,29 that they will hear his vocie and wake up. They will have the opportunity to live in a paradise earth. This promised future includes perfect health and everlasting life.
