She was a loving, caring and giving mother, sister, daughter and friend. She is described as a sweetheart, someone who would do anything for anyone in need,especially her family. She didn’t know a stranger, and would easily give the shoes off of her feet if someone asked for them. Jodi was always able to keep a secret and knew no bounds for her family. She was as beautiful as her birth mother, Yvonne, and will truly be missed by all. Her children and Little Eddie will always love her.
She is survived by her: children, Kaylie Grimes, Joshua Jones Jr.,Neveah Jones, JoAnn Jones, and Harley Jones; father and step-mother, Arvin and Carolyn Sherrill; siblings, Chris Sherrill, Eddie Sherrill, Robbie Martin, and Michele Connely; and godmother, Kay Klepinger.
Jodi was preceded in death her: mother, Yvonee Martin, and grandmothers,Pauline Sherrill and JoAnn Patterson.
Services will be 3:30pm on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Legacy Cremation& Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation from 2pm until the time of service.
Jodi , to my niece & God daughter i will miss you a lot , it was t a bout a week ago we were talking . I know God will reunite you//w your mother r& grand mother up in Heaven and you will be Eddie & your kids guardian angle looking down on them , will always think of you love you

The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
We meet monthly on the first Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, 99 W. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46142 and on the third Thursday at the Faith Apostolic Church, 1212 E. 116th St., Carmel, IN 46032.
If and when you are ready to do so, please join us for either, or both, meetings.
