Karen Ann Mazanowski, born August 9th, 1939, Erie, PA- passed away on October 5th, 2016, in the arms of her daughters and surrounded by her husband, sons and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents Gertrude and Wilbur Kerner, children Lynette and Nathan Mazanowski, and brother David Kerner. Children: Zygmunt, Michelle, David, Lisa, Karen, Alison, Eileen, Heather, Natalie, Rebekah, Joshua, Erin, Elizabeth and Emily.

Karen was a woman who could throw a banquet for a Bishop and feed a homeless beggar at her door. She distributed her love to all equally and completely. Karen had a generous heart and spent her life taking care of others. She was a woman of many talents. She was a wonderful cook, a perfect hostess, and made the house a home with her magazine worthy flair for decorating. Karen was a woman of immense faith and strived to be Christ-like through action, community and service. Karen nurtured dozens of children in her home daycare that she ran for many years. She will be missed but we celebrate in the fact that she is whole again and looking down on us from heaven.
