Karen Jean Ryder, 62, of Danville, passed away May 11, 2023. Karen was born March 14,1961 in Indianapolis to the late Grafton & Gladys Lillpop. Karen graduated from Marion College in 1998 with a degree in nursing. Karen worked at Fresenius Kidney Care for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a follower of Christ. She loved all animals, her garden, and enjoyed her Pokémon. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jesse Ryder, her sons Jeremy (Malinda) Johnson, Jesse Ryder II, Casey Ryder, Her 3 granddaughters: Jordan, Madison, Jazmine Johnson, and her great-granddaughter Everlynn Belt. She also leaves to cherish her memory her sister: Kathleen Vibbert and Kathleen’s husband Johnny, her brother: Dennis Lillpop, as well as many nieces and nephews. Karen was proceeded in death by her parents Grafton and Gladys Lillpop and her sister Rita Such. Services for Karen will be held at Lake View Christian Church at 47 Beachway Drive Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. Services will be officiated by Pastor Ron Bontrager; with visitation being held from 10:00 am and continuing till 1:00 pm, and services at 1:00pm on May 19,2023 burial to follow at Floral Park cemetery. Legacy Cremation Funeral Services- Indianapolis assisted the family with arrangements.
