Kevin David Carter

50, of Indianapolis, entered into rest on July 1, 2016. Kevin was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 28, 1965 to Patsy Lee Fuqua and William Richard Carter. Kevin attended school and lived in Decatur Township where he met and later married Valerie, his high school sweetheart.
They were together a wonderful 35 years and were soulmates, even going as far to say that since she was nine months older, he was created for her when she was born. They shared a rare, deep profound love. Together, they had two beautiful children. Kevin was a proud, self-employed electrician.
He enjoyed visiting the vacation home he and his wife remodeled in Florida. Kevin was a hardworking, devoted Husband, Dad and proud Grampa. He was also a good and loyal friend and never knew a stranger.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife Valerie, his children Nicole (Nathan) Gray & Wm. David Carter (Ashley Smith), parents Patsy Fuqua-Hubrecht (Maurice) & Wm. Richard Carter, grandchildren James & Preston Gray.
Visitation will be held at Drexel Gardens Apostolic Tabernacle, 5033 W. Legrande Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46241 on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 10:30a.m. – 12:30p.m. with funeral service a & burial immediately following. Interment at West Newton Cemetery, 6701 Milton St, West Newton, IN 46183, followed by celebration of life dinner at the church. Callers are asked to dress in a tropical theme. Services entrusted to Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services-Morris Street
