Lisa G. Lasher
41, of Indianapolis,passed away on April 7, 2017 at her home. She was born on October 8, 1975 in Columbus, Ohio. Lisa graduated from Carmel High School in1994. She was a member of the LawrenceUnited Methodist Church, where she taught pre-school. Lisa married her husband, Brian, on April 13,2002.
Lisa is survived by her: husband, Brian E. Lasher; daughter,Elizabeth N. “Liz” Lasher; son, Robert A. “Rob” Lasher; brothers, Jeff A.Nickerson (Suzanne LeBeau), Stephen D. Nickerson (Susan), Scott R. Nickerson(Cathy); mother-in-law, Diann K. Quick Lasher; father-in-law, Robert E. Lasher;sisters-in-law, Michelle K. Dickerson and Brooke J. Lasher; brothers-in-law,Scott P. Dickerson and William “Will” R. Lasher; 5 nieces and 3 nephews; aunt,Dianne “Dee” Williams (Hugh “Hasty”); and uncle, Don Gilmore (Karen). Lisa is preceded in death by: parents, RipleyEdwin “Ned” and Marcia Gay Nickerson.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Friday, April 14, 2017at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. ShadelandAvenue. A funeral service will be 10amon Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Lawrence United Methodist Church, 5200 N.Shadeland Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made toLawrence United Methodist Church for either the Children’s Ministry or the GoodSamaritan Fund.
Sweetheart, I love you so much. Thank you so much for so many great memories over the last 16 years. You are a great wife and mom to our 2 great kids Liz and Rob. I am so glad you never complained or suffered during all your health problems. You never let them slow down. You will always be my guardian angel. Once again I love you so much. We would like to offer sincere condolences to Brian, Lizzie, Robbie and Lisa’s brothers and their wives from all of Lisa’s cousins in Arkansas……Holly Williams Jefferson (Scotty), Brett Williams, Stacy Williams White (Bruce), Mark Williams and Mike Williams. From Aunt Dee and Uncle Hasty—we are heartbroken. Lisa has left us too early, and she will be missed. A huge thank you to Brian for his loving care to Lisa through many years of illness. Rest now, Lisa……you are at peace.
I worked with Lisa at AAA in Carmel. She was a wonderful person and good friend.
My prayers are with her family.
Lisa was such a sweet person.She always had a smile and I know she will be missed.Our prayers are for he family at this time.
