Margaret Elizabeth Bridges

Anderson – Margaret E. Bridges, 88, passed away on May 23, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on December 25, 1929.
Margaret worked in homecare, Youngs shoe dept, JCPenny Shoe dept, and RCA for many years. She was such a hardworking person, working up until three years ago. She also loved to square dance any chance she could. Margaret loved to plant flowers and help her husband Fred with his garden. She was a very caring person, and would help anyone any chance she could. She was a very good cook. She always made everyone feel loved and welcome. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband Fred Bridges, children David Loser (Wanda) and Toni Loser; siblings Edward Patterson (Judy) and Lanie Gentry (Ron); grandchildren Angie, Chad, Chris, Tony, Shane, Michael, Jesse, and Matthew; 19 great-grandchildren; and other stepchildren whom she adored.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Elmer Reynolds, daughter Linda Paul, daughter Sherry, sisters Judy and Rose, and her parents.
Visitation will be from 10-11am on Tuesday May 29, 2018 at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Funeral services following at 11am.

  1. It was our privilege to spend time with Fred in the E.R. at Community hospital in Anderson .Our prayers are with the family at the loss of a sweet lady, and a dear wife. May God add his comfort and Grace in the days ahead for the Family and friends .
