  7. I thought I saw her face today
In the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say,
"Her work on earth is done."

I thought I heard her voice today
    Then laugh her hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say,
"There’s peace little one at last."

I thought I felt her touch today
In the breeze that rustled by.
And then I heard the angel say,
    "The spirit never dies."

I thought that she had left me
For the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She left you with her love."

I thought that I would miss her
    And never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say,
    "She’s with you everyday"

May you rest in God’s presence for all eternity!

  13. Momma Rocky you were one of my favorite other mother’s growing up. Thanks for putting up with me as a child and as your neighbor way back when… Sorry I never made to being your DIL but being my adopted mama was better anyway I believe. Thank you for birthing my BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. We will miss you dearly.
    Love always
    Holly

  14. I love you aunt Rocky. You will be very missed. Tell my Grandma Kay and Papaw Dave that we miss them and not a day goes by that we don’t think about them. I will forever cherish the memories that we have together & I am so glad you got to see my three boys a couple weeks ago. We love you.

  15. You are going to be missed but I’m sure you are loving it up in Heaven. God got another angel, spunky, but an angel at heart! Love you and going to miss your smiling face!

  16. When your beautiful Heart stopped beating – my heart just broke in two.
Knowing that here on Earth – there will never be another like you.
Aunt Rocky I don’t even know where to begin – I love you so much and thank you for all the great times we have spent together from when I was a baby sticking my fingers in your nose while you tried to sleep (so she says with her great laugh) to piling up in the car with Aunt Jackie an all the kids going places we would have never been able to go without you and who could forget all the times I got to spend with you and mom singing Karaoke….and then the heartbreak of us losing my mom and you crying with me that day. I miss you today and always.

  17. I love you. I am so sorry our latter years together held any tension. You were a good mom to me, and I was making mistakes. Like the good mom you are, you were disappointed in me. The beautiful memories shared and all of your hard work and dedication in helping me, helping us and our children will not be in vain. I’m hard at work trying to again be the girl you were once so proud of. You were amazing!
