Michael Calvert, age 79, currently residing in Markleville, passed away at his home on May 7, 2023. He was born on March 27, 1945, to the late Robert and Delores Calvert.
Michael was an outdoor man through and through. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, racing and golfing. He worked for Tri-County Golf Club for many years. He was a family man, always putting his family first. He loved to spend time with his friends and have a good time. He was a wonderful father, grandpa, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Michael is survived by his children Brad Calvert (Stephanie Dobbins) and Steve Calvert (Jamie); grandchildren Valerie Claywell (Clayton), Candi Norris (Josh), Mikey Calvert (Ashley), Chelsea Calvert (Josh), and Shante’ Haines (Mike); great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Presley, Teileigh, Coy, Aniston, and Ruby; siblings Lou Calvert (Ceci), David Calvert, and Debbie Renfro (Tony); and several nieces and nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents listed above and loving wife of 57 years Connie Calvert.
