Oscar “Sneakie” Vaughn Jr., 67, of Indianapolis, made his transition on December 3, 2021.  He was born in Indianapolis on October 21, 1954.  He grew up in Indianapolis and attended Indianapolis Public Schools.  He accepted Christ at an early age.

Oscar was an avid baseball and basketball player and loved all kinds of sports.  He loved watching his favorite sports teams on television: Colts and Indiana Pacers, as well as any other sport, and westerns too.

He worked in construction, acted as a painter, bricklayer, and just about any other construction job where he was needed.

Oscar is survived by his sons; Charles Mayes, Derrick Taylor, and daughter Sherry Mayes; brother Michael Vaughn (Earline), and a host of other siblings, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father Oscar Vaughn Sr.; mother Dorothy Meals; and several siblings.

He will be missed by his family and many friends.

I will miss him so much and here him calling me niece. Rip uncle. Im so thankful for all the times him and I had together and Will always have him in my memories.. Love u uncle sneaky
