February 2, 1950 ~ May 21, 2018
Patricia Anne Bacher, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 21, 2018. She was born on February 2, 1950 in Indianapolis to the late William and Laura Loux. Patricia was a fun and spirited woman who loved movies, especially anything with Doris Day, Shirley Temple, or Andy Griffith in it. She also loved going to the drive-in and to church to visit her friends. Some would call her a firecracker, who cared for animals (domestic or wild) more than her own children sometimes. But in all seriousness, her children, grandchildren, siblings, etc, were her life. She would do anything for them, taking care of them before taking care of herself.
She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above, along with her brother, Randall Loux and her step-brothers, Steven Loux and Eddie Loux. Patricia is survived by her children, Michael “Bubba Duke” (Cindy) Bacher, Melissa Flores (Brian Smith), and Amber (Jhonny) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Christina Cartwright, Billy Cartwright, Christian Littrell, Madison Rodriguez, Jonathan Rodriguez, and JD Smith; siblings, Terry Loux, Shirley Steele, and Sherry Sparks; beloved ex-husband, Michael Bacher; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11am Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation from 10am until the time of service. Burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.

SISTER I NEVER THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD COME
I THOUGHT YOU WOULD ALWAYS BE THERE WHEN NEEDED
YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A GOOD EAR FOR ME
I GUESS I TOOK IT FOR GRANTED I WOULD ALWAYS HAVE MY SISSY
BUT NOW THAT YOU ARE GONE
I WISH FOR MORE TIME WITH YOU
I BELIEVE YOU ARE IN NO PAIN
I BELIEVE YOU ARE IN HEAVEN
AND I BELIEVE
MY HEART IS TRULY BROKEN
I THINK YOU KNEW MORE THAN WHAT YOU WERE SAYING TO ME
TO SAVE ME FROM WORRYING
BUT YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO, SIS
I WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD TO STAND BY YOUR SIDE,
RIP SISSY
