Patricia E. Beaupre, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday,October 25, 2016 with her family by her side. She was an only child born toJack and Edna Gaffey on November 7, 1938 in Terre Haute, Indiana. The familymoved to Indianapolis where Patty proudly graduated from St. John’s Academy. She was class president her senior year and had many great friends she stayedin touch with.

She married James V. Beaupre, Jr, on June 11, 1960. Jim was theoldest of six kids and Pat loved his big, fun and loving family. Jim and Patraised four children making sacrifices along the way to send them to St.Lawrence Grade School and Chatard High School. Pat loved her Catholic faith, her Irish heritage, working at Chatard and volunteering at Our Lady of FatimaRetreat House and doing many fun things with friends and family. Prior to herdevastating illness in March of 2013, it was hard to find her at home. Shefought to recover from various ailments the past few years time and again. Shewas truly a warrior. She would be asked “What is your goal?” She would say “Iam going home.” She went home every time - a true testament to her strength.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Jim. She is survived byher loving children Lisa (Tim) Varnau, Michelle (Chris) Hutson, Sheila (John)Kearney and Jim Beaupre. Cherishing her memory are grandchildren Aaron andCorey Varnau, Sara, Grace, Bridget, Mark and Dan Hutson, Sam and Joanna Kearneyand Oscar Beaupre. She is also survived by cousin Tom Doyle and his family. JamesV. Jr.’s extended family leaves many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces andnephews, cousins and Godchildren. Pat has too many friends to mention - manyconsidered sisters - not just friends.
