Cloverdale— Robert “Bob” W. Turpin, age 74, passed away on Wednesday January 9th 2019 at his home with his loving family surrounding him after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Pamela, his younger brother, Danny and sister, Debi, four children, Robert, Angela, Kimberly and Jeffrey. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Jesse, Elizabeth, Randy, Michael, Darrian, Mia, Zane, Lacey and four great grandchildren, Aidan, Alex, Chloe and Olivia.
Robert is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served his country with Pride and Honor as an Airman in the United States Airforce. Robert was a retired Butcher from Kroger where he worked for 36 years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and attended Faith Baptist Church in Cloverdale, Indiana.
A celebration of his life with be held on Tuesday, January 15th from 1 pm to 3 pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services located at 1604 W Morris St, Indianapolis IN. In lieu of flowers a Memorial Contribution can be made to St. Judes Children Foundation, where Robert and his wife Pamela always made annual donations.

  1. Our prayers are with you all as you grieve the loss of this wonderful man. He was a part of my life when I was quite young as my brother-in-law. I have wonderful memories of him.

  3. It was Dillard and my pleasure to be a part of Bob’s life in the Free Methodist Church when he was a teenager. So glad he became a Christian!

  4. Will miss you cuz but I know you are in a better place than I!!! See you in heaven someday, tell all those Strunk girls to good up there! Especially give a big hug to my mom, your Aunt Nancy! Love to the family, you are in our thoughts and prayers!
