  2. Remembering a sweet, funny and precious man. I will miss Bob greeting me at his door every Friday evening and thanking God I was blessed to know him for the past 2 years. Praying for Toni and his family at this time.

  3. We were so blessed to know Bob. We enjoyed his humor ,hospitality. kindness, stories, jokes, and servant’s heart We will miss him.
We have been praying for Toni and the rest of his family.
    Jim and Gayle Komasinski

  4. Bob was one of the best. He was a wonderful person to work with and an amazing engineer. There are so many things that he and I worked on at Indianapolis Water Company over the years. I will always remember his commitment to the water industry and his years as a “Blue Coat” with the Indiana AWWA.

My condolences to Toni and the girls in this difficult time.

    Tom Bruns

  5. Bob was a blessing to me. He will be missed by so many. My prayers go out to Toni and the family.

  6. Bob welcomed us all, always had a kind word, hands to help, a calm spirit and countenance to bring peace and ease, a funny bone and bag of jokes….funny and groaners alike. I miss his presence. He was a gift and a giver. Praise the Lord for making Bob so special.

  7. We so enjoyed Bob’s wonderful personality and love of the Lord. He had such a servants heart. Our prayers to Toni and the family.

  8. Bob Miller was like the keel on a sailboat; he kept the vessel underway and prevented it from blowing over. We invited him to join the IWC Retiree’s poker club and he declined; saying that’s how he paid for college in his halcyon days and it would not be fair to his friends. He will be missed. / John Davis.

  9. We are so very sorry for your loss. We pray for grace, and we honor his life. Sending a big hug. God bless your family.

  10. I’m grieving with Toni and all of Bob’s family, yet rejoicing that he is with our Savior. What a beautiful reunion he must have had returning to the Father!

  11. By brothers Frank, Tom and I have fond memories growing up with our Uncle Buzz in the late 50’s & 60’s and as we got older. As even our kids will attest, his humor rubbed off on all 3 of us. We will deeply miss him and remember him always.

  12. By brothers Frank, Tom and I have fond memories growing up with our Uncle Buzz in the late 50’s & 60’s and as we got older. As even our kids will attest, his humor rubbed off on all of us. We will deeply miss him and remember him always.

  13. So many wonderful thoughts of my Uncle Bob were given to me by my mother, Bob’s big sister, Frances. Living so far apart, we didn’t get together in person too often, but my mom LOVED telling stories of her “kid brother”. Thinking of them over the years, the stories were always fun (from riding on a Chinese Junk in Lake Michigan with Auntie Rosalind to Uncle Bob’s love of making Spaghetti-O Sandwiches as a kid), funny (because they both had a great sense of humor, as anyone who ever knew Uncle Bob or my mom knew), and MOST of all, so full of love FOR Uncle Bob and so proud OF him! The summers when we were all in Chicago together or visiting in San Diego were a joy, full of so much fun and great memories of time spent in the best of company! We miss you and love you, Uncle Bob, and every time Rex tells one of his jokes, I’ll think of all the jokes we told one another on Thanksgiving and Christmas and birthday phone calls, and smile, and think how lucky we all are to have such a terrific person as you in our lives!

  14. Thank you for the recommendation to donate to the Faith, Hope, and Love Community. This has been done in thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness to your family and in appreciation for Lisa’s faithfulness in our church.

    By His grace,
Pastor Bob, Peggy, & Elanor Bolles
    Providence Reformed Baptist Church

  15. Bob was my boss from 1992 until he retired in 2002. I was amazed at how much trust he placed in me and he let me learn from my mistakes. Bob retired as the seventh and last “Chief Engineer” for the Indianapolis Water Company leaving a legacy of great engineering projects that will serve Indianapolis for generations. The TW Moses water treatment plant, the White River North water treatment plant, and the South Wellfield water treatment plant are just a few of the Indianapolis landmarks that continue Bob’s legacy. Our community owes Bob a tremendous debt of gratitude.

  16. I Am a Tuesday night.
    CHARIS Bible College Healing Class.
When I received the text of Bob’s Heart Attack. I started to cry. Immediately looked for my wallet and called “ CHARIS PRAYER LINE”. Please Pray for an Amazing Gentle Man. He and his wife Toni Host our class every Tuesday night. I know the guy could not understand me crying. But he Prayed. I could not reply. I was silent.
I now pray for Toni and family.

As I read the Memorials and watched the Video.
Bob had a Heart filled with God.
Love Kindness, Caring, Funny, Generous and Welcoming.

If I added Something during class, I turned around to hear
Bob’s remark. I would smile. And sometimes cry. (Bob got me)
    I hide it.

If only we could see everyone like a STORYBOOK.
Like the Video. So many Blessed moments.

The Hardship are hidden in Our Hearts.

    Oh My Goodness.
    What a Gentle Man

    HIS-STORY.
    “A STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN”

    He shared it.
    Blessed.
