Robert “Steve” Davenport, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 19, 2022.  Steve was born in Indianapolis on July 29, 1952 to the late Lindsey and Betty Davenport.  Steve served his county in the United States Airforce.  After he left the Airforce, he was a pipe fitter for many years.  Steve leaves behind his wife, Deborah Davenport.  Service for Steve will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 12:30 pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis, with visitation at the funeral home from 11:00 am until service time.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.

I know you are now not suffering and are out of pain ,You are loved by all of us and will be missed even though you were my Father in law I always looked at you as just ” Dad” please watch over all of us you are free as a bird now dad Now you may rest pain free.. We love you Steve rest in heaven I hope your riding your motorcycle up there somewhere and watching your old western shows that you enjoyed so much and drove us crazy with thanks for always accepting me as one of the family 😇😥😢

  3. My favorite memory and how I would love to always remember my father in law is seeing him roll up on his motorcycle . I will be thinking of all of you tomorrow wish I could be with the family but just know all though I’m a thousand miles away my love is with the family..
