Our beloved mother and granny, Roselyn “Rose” Marie Daugherty passed away peacefully with family at her side on March 2, 2023, at the age of 73. Roselyn was born August 20, 1949, in Indianapolis, IN. She was the daughter of Milton and Esther Totton.

 

Roselyn graduated from Southport High School in 1973. She received her certification as a Respiratory Therapist from California College. She was very passionate about her career and loved working with babies.

 

Roselyn was a strong-willed and kindhearted woman. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, swimming, dancing, and shopping on HSN and QVC.

 

Roselyn is survived by her three children, Johnny Goldsby, Joseph Goldsby, and Dawn Passafiume; her five grandchildren, Brittany Hersey, Conner Passafiume, Athena Passafiume, Jakob Goldsby, and Malea Goldsby; and her three great-grandchildren Ava Hersey, Corbin “CJ” Knox, and Aria Hersey.

Visitation will be held at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services at 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN on Monday, March 13th at 1:00 p.m. with funeral service following at 2 p.m. Burial service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery at 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN.

 

In lieu of flowers, her children have asked for donations to be made to The Susan G. Komen Foundation to assist in research. Online condolences may be made at https://www.komen.org/community/indiana/
