February 2, 1956 ~ January 31, 2023

Born in: Elwood, IN
Resided in: Anderson, IN

Wanita “Skeeter” Eileen Mullins, age 66, of Anderson, passed away on January 31, 2023, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born in Elwood, Indiana on February 2, 1956, to the late George Jackson and Shirley Rice.

Skeeter was a long-time resident of Anderson. She held several jobs throughout her life. Some being the Milk barn, Rickers Gas Station, Care Source, and most recently, keeping all the Legacy Funeral Homes in tip-top shape. She was an extremely hard worker, working until she couldn’t anymore, and then still wanted to be at work. She would do anything for anyone and was generous to a fault. Each year she looked forward to her weeklong sister’s trip and the Frankfort Camp Ministries women’s retreat. She never missed those events. Her pride and joy was her grandson Toph, and great-granddaughter Charlie. She loved spending time with them most. She was perfectly unique, marching to the beat of her own drum. She was a wonderful partner, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Skeeter is survived by her husband of 32 years, James “Termite” Fetty; daughter Bobbie Mullins (Chelsea); grandson Christopher Moore; great-granddaughter Charlotte Eileen; siblings Jenny McGill (Danny), Mable Heath (Robert), Brian Jackson (Jennifer), Kevin Jackson, Frances Remy, Anna Jackson, and David Jackson (Regina); and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, and siblings Jesse, Danny, and Joel Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Frankfort Camp Ministries Women’s Retreat in memory of Skeeter.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 3, 2023, from 4-6pm with a funeral service beginning at 6pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
