Albert Fred Beckham

Albert Fred Beckham, age 85, of Anderson, passed away on November 24, 2020 at Edgewater Woods in Anderson. He was born on October 3, 1935 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Albert Fred Beckham and Aileene Black Beckham.

Fred graduated from Anderson High School. He was a hard-working father. He lived in Fort Wayne, IN for quite some time. Fred worked for Phelps Dodge for 35 years, where he retired. He also worked for Eaby’s Supermarket in Anderson. He loved his black coffee in the mornings, sing and dance to Elvis, and laugh and spend time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Fred is survived by his children Starla McCreary (Mark King), Brad Beckham, Earl Beckham, Jim Beckham (Mary Ellen), Rick Beckham, Marsha Beckham, and Freddy Beckham; grandchildren Jameson McCreary, Marcus King, Kristopher King, Logan King, Annber Ruble (Timothy), Richy Beckham(Bobbi), Avery Beckham, Jaimi Davis (Kyle), Ami Bolin (Chris), Jennifer Beckham (Terrell); Heather Upton(Jeff) and Ricky Zachary; and several great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above; sisters Maxine and Connie Carey; and brother Vearl Beckham.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
