Alison Marie Schafer

Alison Marie Schafer, 22, of Indianapolis, IN died on March 6, 2017. She was born March 17, 1994.

She is survived by her parents Neil and Marlene Schafer of Indianapolis; mother, Pamela Prickett-Schafer of South Carolina; sisters, Ashley (Brandon) Hardin of New Castle, IN and Emily Schafer of Steubenville, OH; brother, James (Charlotte Haffner) Schafer of New Castle, IN; step-siblings, Josh (Kim) McCullough and Michelle (Darryl) Griffin both of Indianapolis; boyfriend, Will Craig of Evansville as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard Dakin, James Schafer, Rita Dakin-Schafer, Forrest and Jeanette Prickett and a cousin, GiGi Schafer.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 3p-7p with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 6950 E. 46th Street, Indianapolis. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Indianapolis. Memorials in honor of Alison can be made to the Little Red Door Cancer Agency. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
