Mr. Allen Lee Robey

Allen Lee Robey, age 64, of Bedford, IN died on Monday, February 18, 2019 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.  He was born on July 28, 1954 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Floyd M. and Dorothy K. (Sparrow) Robey.

He was a graduate of Warren Central High School.  He was a tree climber and had a passion for camping and wildlife.  He was known for his love of animals and nursed multiple orphaned animals.

He is survived by his son, Jeff (Jenny) Robey of Indianapolis; daughter, Stacy Robey of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Connie Markland, Kaleb Robey, Lucas Markland Tyler Stone, Jacob Robey, Corey Stone, Isabella Stone and Jenna Robey; sister, Carolyn Robey of Indianapolis and brother, Wayne Robey of West Lafayette, IN.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.  Memorial donations in Mr. Robey’s memory can be made to reTails Indy.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
