Andrea Clifton

Andrea Clifton, age 52

Sunrise November 26, 1966     Sunset January 9, 2019.

Andrea was born on November 26, 1966 to Andrew Haliburton and Carolyn J. (Clifton) Watkins in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Andrea was educated in the Indianapolis Public School System, attending School #41, School #61, and Northwest High School.  During High School, she was always on the A & B Honor Roll, along with being a member of the National Honor Society.  Andrea graduated in the top 10% of her High School Class.

Andrea was also a member of the United States Army Reserve.  She attended Ivy Tech State College and received an Associate Degree in Nursing.  Andrea worked as an LPN for Methodist Hospital and Green View Nursing Home.  She also briefly attended Marian College, now known as Marian University.

Andrea was able to bring a smile to everyone’s face that she came into contact with.

Andrea Clifton was proceeded in death by her older brother, Vincent Lovett Clifton Sr. and her younger sister, Elissa Ann Watkins.

Andrea leaves behind to cherish fond memories, her mother, Carolyn Jean (Clifton) Watkins; her aunt, Helen (Clifton) Dupee; her uncle, Gregory Clifton; 2 brothers, Michael D. Watkins and Richard Watkins; and her daughter, Kayla Mabry.  She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Andrea Clifton is a true example that you can’t judge a book by its’ cover.  While the outside cover may appear beaten, tattered and worn; the inside pages still hold a lifetime of knowledge, love and wisdom, available to anyone not afraid to look past the cover.

Andrea will always be loved, cherished and missed by family and friends.  Go forward and upward, prepare a place for us at God’s table.  Rest in Heaven, Angie … love, the Family.
