Anita Belle Davies

April 11, 1943 — August 10, 2021

Noblesville, IN

Anita Belle Davies, age 78, residing in Noblesville, passed away at her home on August 10, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Alexandria, IN on April 11, 1943 to the late Omer and Mildred Bertram.

Anita worked as a nurse for 40+ years before retiring.   Her family and friends describe her as the most compassionate and genuinely kind person you would meet. She loved to sing and dance around her home to island music. She was adventurous throughout her life and loved to travel. She even zip-lined through the rain forest at age 68. She spent her free time painting, coloring, studying the Bible and being the best grandmother. She deeply loved her family. She was one of a kind and will be painfully missed by all who knew and loved her.

Anita was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, attending the Noblesville Congregation.  She loved to talk to others about the Bible’s hope for the future. (Revelation 21:3-5)  Anita believed that when  ‘a person dies, he can live again.’ (Job 14:14)  She firmly believed in the resurrection of all those in God’s memory, the safest place a human could be.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, David J. Davies; children Dawn R. Catherman (David), David J.Davies III (LaDonna) and Susan J. Davies; grandchildren Joshua Davies (Lauren), Damion Davies, Isabelle Davies, and Tre Robinson (Johanna); great-grandchild Avery Davies; siblings Marilyn Koger (Jack), Ronald Bertram, and Donald Bertram; nieces Jacqueline Soard (Todd), Kamala Koger; great-niece Monai Kerns, and great-great niece Lana Kerns; great-nephew Corey Soard and great great niece Rose Koger; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, and siblings Ruth Maish, Ramona Piercy-Long, and Edna Mae Bertram.

A Memorial Service will be held by Zoom Video-Conference on Saturday, August 21st at 2:00pm.  Connection details will be provided.
