Anna SueMartin Carey Baker, 62, passed on to meet The Lord at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday night,January 27, 2016, at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis surrounded by family members. The family would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors that cared for her during her stay as well as the nurses and friends she made at Lindberg Crossing Senior Living.
Anna was born in Fayette County, KY on November 10, 1953 and lived in Kentucky almost her entire life. She later moved to Indiana in 2006. She loved to sing,especially Reba and Loretta Lynn songs. She also loved to dance and play bingo. What she loved the most was spending time with family, friends, and helping people.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Baker; two sons, William Lowry (fiancé Amanda,grandson Jaymes) and Patrick Lowry (spouse,Tamsen); stepdaughter, Sandy Baker; sisters, Lannie Bair, Nancy Stone, and Marilyn Taylor; brothers, Jack Martin and Wayne Martin; half-sister, Joanie Gullette;and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lillie Mae Willoughby Martin; and two sisters, Barbara Gullette and Viola Bowling.
Services were provided by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 504 West Ninth Street, Anderson. Mrs. Baker is entombed at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
