Annella (Anne) Carrie Pash

Annella (Anne) Carrie Pash, 93, Indianapolis, passed away after a long illness on June 29, 2016.

Anne was born December 29, 1922 in Newport, Shelby County, Ohio to Clifford Pearne and Viola (Harrod) Butler. Anne was married on July 3, 1948 to Wilbur Edgar Pash, who preceded her in death in 2007.

Anne was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Anne proudly served in World War II in the US Army Cadet Nurse Corp at the VA Neurological Hospital in Louisville, KY. Anne graduated 2nd in her class from the Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing in Dayton Ohio. She then worked as a registered nurse in Dayton, OH at Miami Valley Hospital, McCall’s as an industrial nurse and retired from Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.

After retirement, Anne enjoyed crafts and traveling with her husband Wilbur throughout the United States, Australia, China, South America and the United Kingdom.

Anne was a member of Colonial Dames 17^th Century, Daughters of the American Revolution, USD 1812, First Families of Ohio, and other genealogical organizations.

Anne is survived by daughters Margaret (Bill) Ismon of Dallas, TX, Barbara (Chuck) Terrill of West End, NC, and son Phillip (Becky) Pash of Indianapolis along with eight grandchildren, Tom Pash, Gretchen Ismon, Beth (Jonathon) Clark, Angie (Jim) Rehfus, Carrie (Larry) Bell, Jeff Terrill, Nick (Rachel) Pash, and Emily (Josh) Griffith, numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Per Anne’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Memorials contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Arrangements were handled by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
