Anthony David Carter, age 38, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2020. He was born on March 13, 1981 in Anderson to Monty Carter and Cindy (Folsom) Bush.

Everyone who met Tony loved him. He didn’t know a stranger and was extremely likable. Tony could be described as funny, friendly, loving, and had a great sense of humor. Tony was an avid flea market shopper and was always looking for a good deal. During his life Tony worked as a Journeyman Ironworker for many years, and this was something he was extremely proud of. He belonged to the Iron Workers Local 22. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Colts. Tony loved his children and family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tony is survived by his children Collin Carter, Abbigale Carter, and Finleigh Carter; parents Cindy Bush (Gil) and Monty Carter; siblings Jessica Carter and Christina Bush (James Caudill) ; nieces and nephews Sebastian Ward, Ethan Smith, Isabella Smith, Mykenzie Carmack, and Yazmien Guerrero ; paternal grandparents Robert and Barbara Kail; and several cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother Jared McRoberts, ex-wife Destiny Green, cousin Angie Dagley, maternal grandparents Donald and Ethella Folsom, and grandma Anetta Motsinger.

In leui of flowers, donations can be made to the Anderson Christian Center.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2020 from 2-5pm with a funeral service beginning at 5pm at Faith Assembly of God Church, located at 2817 E. 53rd St. Anderson, IN 46013. Pastor Walt Weaver will be officiating.
