April Christine Jenks

April Christine Jenks, age 71, of Anderson, passed away at her home on September 18, 2021. She was born on March 15, 1950 to the late Lynne D. and Doris E. Jenks.

April was an absolute super mom. She worked hard to provide for her son a single mother. She loved music, sewing, art, animals, and traveling as much as she could. She was a loving friend to so many. She was extremely talented at interior design. She worked for Estee Lauter for several years prior to retiring. She was a wonderful mother and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

April is survived by her son Courtney Kirchgessner (Elizabeth); nieces Mary Nicholson and Natalie Jenks; and her granddogs Hoss and Thor.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, and brother James L. Jenks.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
