Arlowa Singleton Jachim

Arlowa “Lolly” (Singleton) Jachim 80, entered into rest Jan. 24, 2022 at her home, surrounded by family.

Lolly was born in Hamlet, Indiana on April 10, 1941, the daughter of Ira and Lillian (Fagan) Singleton. She married Richard Jachim, whom she met on a blind date, on Aug. 27, 1960 in Knox, Indiana.

Along with being a loving mother of five, Lolly devoted her life to taking care of others. She and Dick were foster parents to many children.

Lolly was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandma. She was always your biggest cheerleader!  She had a very ornery personality, which everyone adored.

She is survived by her children David Jachim, Bridget Ottinger, Dale Jachim, Kevin (Jodi) Jachim, Heather (Phil) De Los Reyes, and Bob Coffman. Brother Carwyn Singleton, Sister in laws Leona Singleton, Jean Singleton, Ellen (Rich) Knebel, Diana Cota and brother in law Louis Jachim. Grandchildren Nicci Frazier, Ricky (Kinsey) Jachim, Dani (Justin) Jachim, Trey (Jessica) Morrow, Austin Jachim, Hannah Jachim, Kati (Jon) Cunningham, Lilli (AJ) De Los Reyes, Cali De Los Reyes. Great grandchildren Tyler, Nora, Emma, Daxin, Barrett, Cooper, Dean, Tucker, Elias, Jayvin, Hendrix and several nieces and nephews.

Lolly was proceeded in death by her husband Dick, her parents, and brothers Joseph (Betty) Singleton, Darwyn Singleton, Merwyn (Mag) Singleton, Leonard Singleton, Arthur Singleton, sister and brother in law Bev (Howard) Calmus, sister in law Donna Jean Singleton and son in law Jack Ottinger.

We wish to thank Kindred Hospice for their loving care of our mother.

Funeral mass will be held Feb. 15, 2022 at 11am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church 2801 Lincoln St. Anderson, IN 46016.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
