Audrey E. (Garner) Ferguson

Audrey E. (Garner) Ferguson, 91 of Indianapolis, left this world on December 26, 2019 to be reunited with the loved ones in their Heavenly home.  She was born on February 7, 1928 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Peyton and Emma (flowers) Garner.  She married her husband, Granton Ferguson on July 12, 1944.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Earl Ferguson, 3 brothers, Waymon, Hall, and Lloyd Garner, and her granddaughter, Angela (Ferguson) Wilson.  She is survived by her children: Bruce (Phyllis) Ferguson, Theresa Childs, and Rita McCoy. 4 grandchildren, Buffy (Kenny) Stein, Jason (Tonya) McCoy, Nathanael (Erin) Ferguson, and Jacob (Cassy) Watson.  6 great- grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, several step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and her brother Lonzie (Sally) Garner.  Several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.  She was loved by so many and she loved everyone so deeply.  Service will be on January 3, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Service, 1604 West Morris St with visitation on Thursday January 2, 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana. Serving as Pallbearers will be Jason McCoy, Jacob Watson, Jared Watson, Kenny Stein, Louis Garner, and Wayne Garner.
