Audrey L. Smith

Audrey L. Smith, age 89, of Indianapolis, IN died peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation – Allison Pointe. She was born on July 30, 1927 in Washington D.C. to the late James R. and Margarite (McKee) Hill.

Along with caring for her family, she also served as a caregiver for many other families in the Indianapolis area. She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Smith of Indianapolis; son Raymond (Judy) Smith of Otisco, IN and granddaughter, Hollie Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, James Hill Jr. and Donald Hill.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Ms. Smith’s memory be made to the family for final expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
