B. Jeannine (Klennert) Dunn

87, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 3, 2018. Jeannine was born on November 4, 1930 in Indianapolis to the late Robert and Margaret (Sowers) Klennert. She went to Broad Ripple High School and married the love of her life, Edmund Dunn, at age 17.

Jeannine was a member of Chi Tau Alpha, a social sorority, and of Indianapolis Sewing Threads. She was a seamstress and quilter, who loved to make clothes, costumes, dolls, bears, bags and purses, and quilts for anyone who would take them. Jeannine also loved visiting and talking to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren all of the time.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, whom are mentioned above; and brother and sister-in-law, William and Mary Klennert. Jeannine is survived by her sons, Thomas Dunn and Robert (Joanne) Dunn; daughter, Susan “Sue” Dunn; grandchildren, Amy (Troy) Lacher, Matthew (Deborah) Dunn, Edmund Dunn, and Joseph (Rachel) Dunn; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue. A funeral service will be at 10am on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
