Barbara A. Cox, age 80, of Noblesville, passed away at Harbor Manor on May 4, 2023. She was born on September 22, 1942, in Noblesville, IN to the late Louis Michael and Mary Elizabeth (Lawhorn) Tescher.

Barbara was a spunky, loveable woman with a true heart of gold. She was always willing to help anyone, taking in anyone who needed help. She was a sweet person, always loving to give people hugs. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling, cooking, mushroom hunting, and taking walks in the woods with her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara is survived by her three children Harry J Cox (Tammy), Loha Jackson (Chris), and Laura Cox; grandchildren Brandon Cox, Tabitha Cox, Chad Dowling, Beth Reed (Zach), Cheyenne Jackson (Brooks), Kyle McCoy, and Katie Gantt (PJ); great-grandchildren Remington Cox, Chason Allender, Landon Dowling, Eleanor Reed, Hunter Reed, Bellatrix Lawson, Jada McCoy, Easton McCoy, Phillip Gantt, Royal Gantt, Awbri Gantt, and Kanen Gantt; sisters Sharon Beamer (Dave) and Christine Lynch; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, spouse Harry Cox Sr., stepfather Donald Tescher, great-granddaughter Zoey, brother Ronald Michael, and brother-in-law Owen Lynch.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 13, 2023, at 4pm at Ford Street Church, 925 Ford Street, Lapel, IN 46051.

Cremation services were handled through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
