Barbara Ann Carson

Barbara Ann Carson, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 9, 2021. She was born on November 12, 1949 in Russell Springs, KY, to the late Mervin B. and Imogene M. (Wells) Grider. Barbara was raised in Russell Springs with her 7 siblings. She moved to Indiana in the early 1950’s.

Barbara worked as a CNA for different companies throughout her life and the most recent was Comfort Keepers.

Barbara loved to plant tomatoes, shop at the goodwill, paint. She loved to listen to bluegrass and classic country music (George Jones, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, etc.)

She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; along with her husband Windle Carson, brothers Gary Grider, Larry Grider, Marilyn Grider and Linda Grider also her grandson Steven Long and great granddaughter Virginia Carson-Applegate.

Barbara is survived by her daughters Tammy Long, Barbara Cochran, and son Windle Carson Jr.  Her 3 sisters, 1 brother, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
