Barbara Brewer

Barbara Brewer, age 70, of Anderson, passed away on March 8, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. She was born on November 14, 1949 to the late Beryl Thomas and Ethel Shelton.

Barbara was a homemaker for most of her life, always taking care of her family. She enjoyed playing games, doing puzzles, and watching cooking shows. She was an avid Chicago PD television show fan. She loved playing on the computer and doing PI mystery games. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara is survived by her children Donna Holland (Steve) and Judy Brewer; grandchildren Victoria Hermosillo (Gabriel), Michael Thomas, Katrina Kennett, Holly Thomas, Donald Thomas Jr., Danielle Harris (Joe), Charlie Mendoza, and Ariel Keel; great-grandchildren Abagail Gonzalez, Tristen Thomas, Ellie Price, Addison Harris, Brenden Thomas, Aurora Thomas, Damien Thomas, Anavirin Thomas, and Lionel Thomas; siblings Diane Taylor, Brenda McKinney (Joe), Martha Noland, and Judy Bahr (Dennis); and special friends Rosemary Regan and the White family.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above; siblings Larry Thomas, Nancy Jenkins, Mary Thomas; stepdad Lowell Shelton; son Donald Thomas; daughter Pamela Brunson.

A visitation will be held on March 17, 2020 from 12pm-1pm with a funeral service beginning at 1pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
